Welcome to My World!

It is a great thrill to write this inaugural post on Pen Empower's blog page. I know how I got here -- many hours helping friends, family, classmates, and co-workers in the kinds of tasks that I am passionate about, the work that relates to writing, editing, revising, restructuring, laying out sentences and images and colors in formats that feed the eyes and playing with multimedia because the eyes are not enough.

Whether our day-to-day lives are inundated or not with too much technology, distractions, obligations and commitments -- we still seek meaningful experiences that uplift, slow time (or speed up), and nourish the mind. This transcendance of spirit is what we give to one another -- through letters, emails, applications, proposals, even the style of our personalized checkbooks. From there, we can make the jump to what makes successful marketing material, advertisements and creative media.

I look forward to the many projects I will work on in the future because the ones I have touched in the past seem to have whizzed by so quickly. Writing and design and the editing of writing and design are not static. These activities zoom by, shift and change, and allow us to add beauty to the world. I ramble....more soon!
