I wanted to use tropical island colors and images of fresh fruit in designing the web site. People of the Pacific Islands face nutritional deficits due to the import of non-perishable goods to the islands. This web site will become a place of exchange between people across the Pacific and along the Pacific Rim.

Bookkeeping Wellness is a site meant to reflect the tastes and style of its owner, a woman who has served as bookkeeper to small business owners for many years. I was given the color scheme and a list of images and types of design that that my client preferred. By infusing more nature into the swirls my client liked so much, I feel I was able to bring balance to what could have been too decorative.

Women With Wings was a collaborative effort with three other graphic designers. Our roles were divided into Information Architect, Layout Designer, Coder and Project Manager. It was a rewarding process to work as a team and help one another on each person's task. I used images to complement the logo created by our Layout Designer when making the Flash file on the home page.

Senior Citizens

Working in Flash is an exhiliarating experience because it combines the storytelling of programs like Final Cut Pro and After Effects with the publishing possibilities of the web. Working on Jen Marcks' ad was a wonderful experience because I had a chance to create sensitive and caring worlds inhabited by our elders.

Manha Organic is a web site I fully branded with logo, clean style and structure. Because of the usually more affluent consumers who purchase organic fruits and vegetables, I wanted the web site to be interactive, filled with multimedia and with a sophisticated tone.
